Hi, So stoked to remember how skateboarding made me an awsome and persistent person!
Since I was in 14 years old, a 1 year of progression until I became 17 years of age HAHA SO LONG but I did not gave up. Here's my favorite trick. The trick that made me feel exhausted lol haha.
My first and my most favorite rail trick, The Frontside Boardslide. My favorite was the normal out instead of the Fakie one. At my 2 years of progression, accidentaly I found a parking curve And I tried to pursue it and made an Ollie and put the middle of my board to the curve. I was so terrified back then because I think I was gonna fall but, I unexpectedly do a frontside boardslide.
Some of a newbie skater I know, asked me why it became frontside because you are sliding backwards HAHA lol.
Then I told them, if you are going to approach the rail at your front it became frontside and if you are going backside, then you know what will you call it.
It was my first rail trick, I can imagine how much happiness I felt after I landed it on a rail with a fakie out.
But before I attain it, so many challenges
I faced. So many falls, so many bruises and scars and some broken ankle. I feel so frustrated that time. But I became more persistent and committed to that trick and thats it, I finally I made it after a long week of resting.
Just like in life, if you commit yourself into something, and you are dedicated and persistent to do it? You will achieve what are you dreaming for whatever it was.
