I want to talk about something I’ve really come to love—skiing. I haven’t been skiing for very long, but every time I get out on the slopes, I have so much fun. It makes me feel free, and even though I’m still learning, I know I want to keep doing it. There’s something really cool about gliding through the snow, feeling the cold air, and just focusing on the moment. Even when I fall (which happens a lot), I just get back up and keep going.
I’ve noticed that I prefer the less steep slopes. Some people love the really steep ones, but I like to take my time and stay in control. I don’t want to feel like I’m about to fall every second! It’s more fun for me when I can just enjoy the ride and get better at skiing without feeling rushed. Plus, it gives me more time to take in the view—Bansko is such a beautiful place, and I love looking around at the mountains while I ski.
Right now, I’m in Bansko, and it’s been such a great experience. I’ve been skiing a lot and I’ve made some really cool friends at the world schooling hub. Meeting new people can sometimes be a bit nerve-wracking, but having skiing in common has made it really easy to connect. We’ve been hanging out, helping each other on the slopes, and just having a great time. It’s made skiing even more fun because now I get to ski with friends! Even when we are not skiing we are enjoying the world schooling hub and doing cool activities like swimming making cookies or playing games, overall it has been an amazing and fun experience and I can’t wait for it to continue.the hub is 6 weeks and we have been here for 2 so we still have loads more time to ski and have fun!
Skiing has become something I really love, and I’m excited to keep getting better and making more memories while I’m here. I know I still have a lot to learn, but that just makes it even more exciting. Who knows?Maybe I will become the next big skier! Probably not but everyone can dream! But for now, I’m just enjoying every moment.
The only down side is that my family are NOT morning people so getting uo early to go skiing has been a struggle!!!

Bulgaria is really nice for learning how to ski and for good skiers as well! My favorite route is the 7 kilometer ski road that has steep slopes but is also not to advanced! Have a good day!
