Day 26: Detox your diet

It's needful you do a diet detox because not all foods are beneficial to both the body and skin.

You should learn to eat not for satisfaction alone but for the benefits your body stands to gain from that food.

Fresh foods, fruits and vegetables are far better than processed and junk foods.

Avoid alcohol and sugar as you would a plague because that's what they are😉.

Don't rush your food, rather chew slowly.

Eat more of boiled, grilled and steamed foods instead of fried.

Replace coffee with green or herbal teas or plain old water.

It won't be easy I know but look at the end result.

You can start by reducing their quantity or frequency. For instance, someone that loves coca-cola won't accept to stop abruptly but can reduce from 5 bottles a day to 1 bottle till he can handle once a week, once a month.....

In trying to overcome an addiction, always replace with something else that's 'good' so you don't feel deprived. You could either replace soda with a 'sweet' fresh fruit juice such as pineapple, mango...
