i struggled with getting enough sleep myself.
i always felt tired. Even after 12 hours of sleep...

One helpful advice:
Don´t drink coffee or energy drinks 8 hours before bedtime. it will increase the serotonin (counter to melotonin) in your body.
And you will also have problems regardless what you are trying.
