Charcoal Drawing on Panel - which i was curious to try it too ,and i loved it badly

using brushes

i use brushes for charcoals , and it had a result on panel that i was more comfortable with ,then papers .

if you listen to the wind carefully you'll be able to hear me, whisper my love for you

days ago i had a brief conversation with @thermoplastic ,he is one of my favorite artist's i follow his blog here . he used to make great textures , he had some good suggestions about charcoal drawing ,thanks again ..

In browsing the art on here, I'm often blown away by the talent. To take the advice from another artists and bravely venture into a new medium is impressive enough, but then to go ahead and make something brilliant on the first try, just wow!

using brushes with charcoal on panel: yes, I had done quite a few that way. You can also use erasers to work from dark to light (I really like kneaded erasers), and electric erasers for some effects.
