RE: work in progress :D

hey that's sooo lovely! such cute idea! Is it inspired by the slothicorn?
As feedback, I might have a few minor suggestions to improve the result...

  • the little guy, I would make him close his eyes completely, and bring the mouth a little higher to make him even cutter.
  • a warm color for the background to transmit the sense of love and care
  • and I'd tilt moms eyebrows to soften her expression, to make her seem disarmed by love.

Really good suggestions about the eyes and eyebrows , the background will be changed completely , just put it there to be able to post it :)

Got ya, well i'm psyched to see how the final looks. <3

I haven't worked much in illustrator and in Photoshop I work over 7000 px and to get crisp line art at that high res is hard, so I tried illustrator but I don't like it that much, it doesn't look like my style :D

oh i totally love both! illustrator has evolved so much, and now lets you do a lot more artistic stuff...
but it can feel a little strange especially if you havent used it in a while... i've always had a love/hate raltionship with some of the interface and font features in this program.

But your work looks totally made in vector... or is it photoshop?
i'll be happy to help you if you can't make something work in either programs.

It's vector, I used to work in illustrator only for technical fashion sketches, black on white , pen tool , reflect/ copy were the only tools - the most boring part of fashion design :)) so I had my misconceptions:)) but I still prefer photoshop and mostly I like the traditional
