Hello community on this occasion I want to introduce you to this small project I always wanted to make, a scale model of a real mechanical workshop and I had the opportunity to get the way to do it. Here I leave you step by step of the process.
The project started the day I was painting my car, a child gave me one of his used cars, which was the same model as my Mitsubishi Lancer.
At the moment of preparing the original Painting of the car instead of doing it in any surface we made it in the scale 1:18 car after covering with papper tape the glass and rubbers, we applied 3 coats of DuPont Blue Paint personalized blue cobalt pearl blue and 3 coats of transparent DuPont 9600, the Rims were painted with permanent red pearl marker.
I took some pieces of clear acrylic and decided to make the workshop because I had some reused materials to make the floor and walls. I looked through my scale car and got a set of tools of the same scale 1:18 from American Muscle Ertl Collectibles.
To simulate the asphalt look, I cut recycled packaging material that has a texture similar to asphalt and is black colored.
With the help of CREATIVOS Edwars Jhoseph Prints and Labels, Edwars achieved the vinyl printing of the 2 walls of the workshop locating the logos of the oil I use on my car and some tools.
The floor was painted with white location stripes and Steemit logos using cold paint.
In this stage the workshop already had walls and floor finished.
I made a door with a little acrylic covered with a vinyl sheet with a dark wood finish and placed the knob on it.
I proceeded to assemble the workshop with equipment and tools such as air compressor, jack, jacks stands, creeper pneumatic, tool case with impact wrench, and fender cover.
We finished the scale model at 1:18 scale
I hope you like it.
