I wake up. The alarm clock on the side of my bed buzzing. An incessant buzzing. Every morning starts the same. That damned alarm clock. I need to change it, maybe I’ll get myself one of those fancy ones that wakes you up with simulated sunlight and bird sounds. That would be nice.
I swing my legs over the edge of my bed. The carpet is cold between my toes. With more effort than it should take for my years I stand up. I shouldn’t have had those extra shots last night; the typical thought of a morning-after the night-before. Thankfully it’s the weekend. No work for me today. As a matter of fact, no anything today. Not necessarily out of a choice to relax, just the same every weekend.
I slowly head downstairs to the coffee machine. My nose assaulted by the cheap Peruvian blend I bought from the shop. How does that saying go … “life is too short for bad coffee”? Yeah, tell that to my wallet. The machine drips away. Slowly.
As I wait I open my laptop. 3 emails and a Facebook notification. None of the embarrassing photo tags most people get after a night out. No not for me. It’s my mothers’ birthday. Shit. Another year I’ve forgotten, I wonder what excuse I’ll use this time. The emails aren’t much better. All of them promotional offers for travelling with that ‘special someone’. I wonder if I can get a 50% discount if I only book half of the couple’s getaway?
I see Bitcoin has dropped again. It all seemed to be going so well. It’s a shame really. I could have retired by now. Even more time to spend by myself; maybe it’s not such a bad thing. I click through the rest of my portfolio. Solid horizontal growth. No changes. I guess I’ll have to stick with the same crappy coffee. Speaking of which, it must be ready by now.
I head back to the kitchen. I pass my calendar. Something catches my eye. It’s the 25th today. Why is that so important? I can’t quite remember so I shrug it off and carry on to the kitchen. I pour the coffee into the only mug I have. The handle broke off years ago, but who has time to go shopping for replacements? On my way back to my laptop I pass the calendar again. It hits me out of the blue.
SmartRewards.
Suddenly there’s a spring in my step. A smile begins to play around the corners of my mouth. I log into my SmartCash wallet. 38% rewards! I feel my face break into a full grin. The kind a child wears on Christmas morning. I gleefully sip my coffee. It’s as horrible as it smelt. Maybe I can now afford some nicer coffee. Although I should probably buy my mom something nice. I mean it is her birthday after all. Then again, I reckon I can afford both this morning!
I was pretty fortunate that I stumbled upon SmartCash when I did. Some random guy posted a crappy Steemit article about it, really wasn’t anything special from what I remember but I was intrigued by the many innovative concepts SmartCash promised, including SmartRewards. A fast, user-friendly, community-driven project with a decentralized governance system and a focus on privacy, I mean that’s almost the dream, right? Bitcoin had just reached an ATH when I read the article but was just approaching some potential turbulence; I took some of my profits and invested them in SmartCash. Seemed a bit risky at the time but the more I read about SmartCash the less risky I thought it was. In hindsight, it was one of the best investment decisions I’ve made in a long time.
Could this be you?!
Seriously, SmartCash is a cryptocurrency with a high potential at the moment. It blends privacy, speed and decentralized governance in a way that no other coin can at the moment.
BTW, I don’t work for SmartCash, I’m just a huge fan and hodler hoping somebody will reward me BIG. If you hold SmartCash and want to thank me, here’s my address: Se3TTsZst2xxFKQdZMWdUMn3hDyjLPqAqy
Ciao x
