Blow me down it's #treetuesday again. I can't believe how the time is flying by. I popped out to have a little walk around the neighborhood and the weather has been a little blowy at night. Imagine the poor sod waking up to this in their back garden?
For some added drama let's get a close up and make it black and white.
They say that. "It is an ill wind that blows no one any good" but looking on the bright side. The neighbors house still looks pretty good. Framed nicely by the trees which probably gave it some protection from the high winds.
It's just one of those things in life sent to try our patience. You either moan about it or just order a new fence?
It's not what happens to us but the way we respond that matters. How are things with you all today? Is the sky falling? :)

No sky falling here @molometer. I've had a lovely day.
Had the last of my Christmas presents - afternoon tea with my daughter.
Spending quality time with her with is present enough but thrown in an afternoon tea and I'm in heaven. 😁
Sounds like you had a glorious day. Nothing better than spending time with loved ones; and afternoon tea is the cherry on the cake.
My sky is still intact, but I think several people in town may be wondering. Wind and massive amounts of rain here.
Did the fallen tree do much damage? It looked pretty bad. Batten down the hatches tonight.
I haven't been by since they removed the tree and haven't heard any damage estimates. The insurance company was sending a drone to do aerial photos.
A drone, wow how cool is that? You know my experience with drones lol
A very practical application, indeed. I had not thought of that use for them.

Great photos!
There’s dang little wind here the last few days. When there is even the slightest breeze, it feels like a blast from an oven – heck, it feels like opening a hot oven door when you open the door to step outside! It’s near 100% humidity with 105-110°F heat indices on top of near 100°F temperatures… just a typical sweltering August day – before it’s even officially summer!
This does NOT bode well for July and August…
Sounds like you are sweltering over there. We've had sunny days 72° for about 10 days straight but with wind gusts of 60 mph?
Sounds like pleasant temps. But, that gale force wind!
Watch out when the wind decided to do some redecorating. Great shots. MM:)
It certainly did a bit of rearranging lol
Haha, the sky is certainly NOT falling. Here in Pasadena CA, we don't even have any wind at all ;)
Good to hear everything is cool in Pasadena. What a relief! Ha ha
Shhh, don't tell Old Guy but I missed #treetuesday again this week... lol
It's a shame the fence was blown down, beautiful views otherwise.
