Smartphonephotography photography contest winners
This weeks theme was movement.
I have been very strict on the deadline this time, normally I check a couple hours after also. The reason for this is that in the near future the submitting window for all contests will no longer be 7 days. Some days are getting over a 1000 new photos to the hashtags. To make it more manageable for me I will reduce the time windows for the contests. This is not active as of now as I want to keep it as accessible as possible :)
Movement is a big part of daily life and while photography is only a snap moment it is very well possible to capture movement. There are many different ways to do this. For example movement can be stopped to capture a unique movement, or can be indirectly noticeable by the direction of where a subject might be moving to. Also the shutter time can make for a blurry effect, contrasting with the non blurry parts of the image.
In all movement can be used to tell more about the story or guide the viewer though the photo. Belw are some amazing examples. Enjoy!
