Last night I had a sudden burst of wanting to get out and walk as well as take some pictures so I decided on a half hour walk around my area this time around. I just took some random, cool shots to get in the lights and what I was seeing so I would be able to share it with everyone.
I am starting with my favourite due to the effect of the street light on the camera like those pictures during the day and the sunlight shining onto the sceneray of the picture. This was near the end of my walk and looking back to capture the edge of the field joining up to two major roads around here.
At the start of my walk saw the capture of both the night time coming in from the east while the sun was finishing setting in the west, adding a cool look to the shopping centre and surroundings.
Capturing the windmill with the effect still of the setting sun along with the night time and moon. This made for a lovely shot, helping to make the walk amazing.
Last of all was to look back at the shopping centre and the bright light. I think the camera was acting like my eyes at bright signs, blurry writing and having a weird effect haha! No kidding, though I could make out the Woolworths sign a little better. But that's some nice, black clouds in the distance as night befalls us.
I hope you enjoyed getting to see a bit of what is in my area and from my walk. Not as exciting as a walking trail during the day or other spots, but I couldn't just share my walk without any pictures! It was a lovely night for it too, though it started getting a little warm and muggy halfway through as it was a slightly warm night.

Very cool! The one with the windmill where the sun goes down and the moon is already up does look amazing. And I get that feeling of wanting to go out and walk in the middle of the night, but I never really do it. Maybe I should!
It really is amazing if the night is lovely, though better to stick to roads and places lit up even for a guy like me, better being safe. Or walk with others, but it is amazing to do. :)

There is nothing so sublime as the sounds, smells, and feel of streets after the sun sets. It is like an alien environment compared to the day! Love the shots.
You're right about that mate, especially catching the transition from day to night with the sun setting in the distance.
