When I read the contest of @hundredlbsbeauty 😊 Project Smile Contest: The Reason I Smile I am really excited to join because I want to share my Smile Story and tell the world, the universe rather, who makes me smile everyday. So let's start?
Here is my entry for 😊 Project Smile Contest: The Reason I Smile Contest
✦✧✦✧
In my 23 years of existence in the world, I meet a lot of people who made me smile. Some made me smile by giving me some advise and some made me smile that made me a stronger woman now. I could not mention all of them but I'll highlight the person who made me smile from the the day I took my first breath up to now.
She is my mom / father / sister / bestfriend / enemy / lawmaker / lawbreaker / partner in crime / MY EVERYTHING❤
She's 402.5 km and 8-9 hours away from me but she's always been the person who makes my SMILE unusually great.
I already share what happen to my dad when I was a child and that tragedy broke my mom's heart into pieces. I can't imagine how painful losing the love of your life and will never see him again. Since I'm still young that time, I never saw my mom showing pain and grieving heart, she's always smiling just to show me that she got my back. Her action is telling me - " My young lady, I got your back and I'm here to support you". With her actions I never felt like I lost a father but when I grow older, I realized everything.
My mom was strong enough to fake her smile to hide the pain and sadness. My mom was strong to handle us without a father. When I think about the definition of strong, the first person that comes to my mind is my mom. If only I had a dollar for every time I hear my mom's encouraging words, I'd probably be doing traveling and relaxing rather than typing on my laptop now. Yes, and that is my mom, she's always giving me advise not to stop and by showing me that she's always there to support me.
She's only 49 years old. She had three beautiful daughters (Jona, Jet, Jessa). I'll give you just a quick introduction about her daughters.
Jona - Oldest
She's currently in Macau right now working as OFW for long years. She's 31 years old but looks like the youngest.(It's my blog and I'm sorry for being biased in choosing pictures 😂)She's been a good daughter and a sister but sometimes the enemy of all. She has this personality that what she likes without a doubt she will do it. She's not that generous in terms of money, if you ask you need to provide a proof, receipt and a deep justifications, it's like you need a notary to use for jurisdictions but I swear she's generous except..( back read) Hahaha. She's a strong woman who had a multiple heartbreaks (a man hater now I guess. Hehehe) but now she's finally in love and happy with her new love life for 5 years.
Jet-Middle
Her name is "Jetlane", her name is unique and as unique as her personality. She is my "manager" in terms of my career (dancing, beauty pageant before and lovelife). We are like fat thighs, we are stick together 😃. She's my number two supporter, my mom is number one. She's 28 years young with a 7 year old son - Jei. She got pregnant while studying but she manage to graduate. She's the companion of my mom right since Jona and I are faraway from home. She's hardheaded sometimes but really dramatic all the time. She's thinking that, she's the black sheep and a disgrace. She thought that our family beliefs are opposite of hers. But she never thought that she is a blessing by giving us a baby boy. She is one of the strongest woman I know, despite of all the obstacles in her life, she manage to handle all.
Jessa - Youngest
Well, I'm the youngest and the most beautiful of them all ❤ I'm the closest to my mom. Since I'm 6 years old when my father passed away, most of my mom's attention was given to me and my sisters are jealous because they thought that "I'm the favorite" but if they only knew our conversation, it's all about them. Sometimes, they call me the oldest because I'm scolding them.
There you go, the 3 daughters who were not always the most appreciative and took many things for granted. (yes, I admit) but did everything for us no matter how ungrateful we acted and she always love us unconditionally. Now that I am older and can reflect on that I realize it takes a really strong person to handle all the things that we threw.
My mom is really strong t doesn't matter how horrible the day before was, she tries her hardest to move past it and leave the past in the past. I could go on and on about how much my mom means to me. She taught me that family is everything and family will be there for you no matter what. I am so lucky to have grown up with such an amazing mother. I learned so many things from my mom. I can't wait to be a mom myself and do things how she did because I know if I act how she did as a mother, I will give my family the best life possible.
The strongest person I know who make me SMILE in every waking day of my life. MY MOM.

No matter who you are and no matter what kind of mode you are, that person will always make you smile.

Thank you so much for joining my contest! I love how unbiased this post was. Lol. But anyway, I know how difficult it can be for your mom to be without your father. Being a mother alone is difficult, what more if you are both the mom and the dad at home. I can see how successful she is raising the tres marias. The three of you grown to be lovely and wise (basing on your little story about you and your siblings). Our mothers are always a treasure to our heart, after all they are the reason why we're here. :) thanks for sharing your smile story! :)
Hahahaha. Thank you again sis for this contest! Goodluck!!
Wow, I am so much thrilled to know your reason of smile, Jessa :D
Since high school they always been your reason of smile I am not surprised that didn't change at all.
Thank you so much! They will always be the top priority.
