Good morning Steemit. This morning my Facebook reminded me that 2 years ago today I posted pictures from my wedding, one of the best days of my life, for our honeymoon we went to Costa Rica. While there we went to a smoothie shack everyday and my husband ordered a papaya smoothie every time. He got a papaya smoothie because it tasted great but papayas are so good for you too. They are high in carotenes, like carrots, and support eye health. The fiber, folate and vitamin C, along with the enzyme papain help prevent colon cancer and support a healthy digestive system. Lastly vitamins C and E help create a healthy immune system. I have been incredibly blessed in my life to have a loving husband and am toasting him with this yummy and healthy drink.
- 1 cup unsweet vanilla almond milk (coconut milk would be great too)
- 1/2 papaya (without seeds)
- 1 frozen banana
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
