Happy Monday y'all! I am enjoying this beautiful purple smoothie. Lets talk about pineapple; it is a sweet, funny looking fruit that makes me think of being on a tropical beach, but it is also very healthy even helping flatten my postpartum belly. Pineapples contain bromelain, which is an enzyme that metabolizes protein, helping to reduce belly bloat and inflammation. Pineapple is also full of vitamin C supporting a healthy immune system. So lets cheers to a yummy smoothie and a flatter tummy.
- 1 cup unsweet almond/coconut milk
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
