Very interesting project that you guys are pulling off. Do the delegators need to delegate the Steempower for a whole month or do they get the tokens also if they delegate the SP before the 20th.?

We have a cut-off! Delegations before the 7th of a month is counted for the monthly distribution.
Beyond that, it slips over to the next cycle.
So if I sent you a delegation today would it still count for this month?
