**Receipt into Cash**

in #snapcart7 years ago

More often than not, we consider receipts as part of garbage after validating all is correct with what we have paid for.

Well, tadah! not anymore. Those thermal papers are going to make more sense than ever.

To those who already know about it, that's absolutely wonderful! I give you a high five for that. But to my fellow steemians, who are yet to know it, presenting "SnapCart"

Snapcart is a mobile application which you can readily download through Google playstore and it's aim is to give you cashback whenever you take a snippet of your receipt, not more than 3 days old and upload it in the application. Cashback may not be instant, but giving it time for review and validation after 24 hours or as quick as 4 hours, is worth it, with just an effort of snapping, you get a cashback.

Profiles look exactly like this.

It will ask you to assign an account number to where your funds will be transferred when you are ready to withdraw.

For your receipts to be qualified, it should all be for personal purchases of: groceries, medicines and cosmetics.

Isn't it just wonderful that you get something back after spending for some of your expenses? Few pesos can be a cover for your water bill, right?
Or mineral water expense. Not really bad at all.

Thinking how much you could get back when you snap?

This app also have a level up to recognize the most snapper of receipts. I am undoubtedly at the beginner stage, plus the fact that my partner and I still forget to take a photo of some receipts, quickly sending small papers to the trash bin.

And when you level up, you increase the multiplier for your cashback.

The app also have games which gives you coins, even better cashback.

I am yet to cash out since it requires 220 as minimum for cash out. But you see, I'm still optimistic about this kind of mobile applications.

As to where and how they get funds to give us the cashback, I am still puzzled, but it would be great if some could share some insight on this. Just hit the comment/ reply box, my friend.

Tell me what you think of this application or what your experiences are. It would be a great gateway to see if this really is utilized the way it should be and of course if Snapcart is living to its vision.

May we all have a happy weekend. Enjoy reading and Steem On, my friends!
