Have you heard about SNAX?

I want to share a new project that I have been learning about with you guys today. Over the past few years I've become more and more of a fan of cross-chain connectivity and anytime I find a project that is extremely easy for "normies" to pick up, I have to do my research. One of the projects I've been looking at the most lately is SNAX and I think it's a pretty brilliant approach to integrating crypto with social media.

Instead of trying to replace social media and get the "normie" crowd to figure out a complicated system, SNAX takes a very different approach. Users download a browser extension and link their traditional social media accounts to their SNAX account and get rewarded for doing the things they are already doing. The blockchain is a fork of EOS and the wallet is very similar to the keychain or metamask extensions that encrypt keys in a users browser. This creates a combo that allows users to pick an easy account name instead of a complicated address and store their keys safely behind an easy to use password.

I think the end result has some serious potential to bring a lot of people that aren't familiar with crypto into the scene. The simple "get paid for doing what you already do" approach and ease of use makes it basically a no-brainer. Think of all the people that download extensions like Honey to save a few bucks shopping online, it's only logical that when they find out they can download an extension and get paid to use Twitter or some of the other sites that are being integrated that they'll jump at the opportunity. I'm glad to see them adding support for STEEM and I encourage all of you to take advantage of the current bounty!

I agree, it is a good way to get people started. But my question is, what will SNAX do once Facebook rolls out their coin that they have been talking about. Sure, there are things like Instagram and such that can utilize this. But Facebook is one of the biggest ones out there and if they are already starting their own token this could seriously hurt the SNAX project.

Also, yes, I did come here because I was expecting coins for eating snacks.

And I am very disappoint.
