I am so inspired by this contest not only because of many ideas I could imagine drawing for the them of State of the Sndbox
but also because these guys who are standing behind the scene of the @sndbox community have really good taste and even if I will not win I am sure the winner would be strong submission.
The State of the Sndbox Monthly Thumbnail Competition
Last time I was taking part in this long months ago. Probably in winter. Later I had no free time to enter though they are keep doing such a competitions monthly and I was eager to take part again.
I've participated in few other contests here on Steem but usually contest owners have strange taste or they say Your submission was too cool so you are not winning it
. Strange argument indeed. But here with the Sndbox I am sure. Check those guys projects at @sndbox, @creativecrypto. They are really one of the best here on Steem regarding graphics and quality of the articles I know so far.
My entry
Had an idea to draw this before. Sndbox logo shape is like a sandbox obviously and the theme is a play, learn and grow. This is how I feel the whole Steem community should be.
So here was the quick sketch. As you can see I was working in Adobe Photoshop this time again.
Saved few steps for you to keep the tradition... I don't know which one I like more. Maybe even this light without background and additional branding colors...
Lets keep the clean one for submission and then let @sndbox to choose.
Are you in the contest by the way? There is enough time still...

This really looks perfect.. Amazing
Thank you :)
You are welcome sir @dunsky
I like his hair, so round and counterbalances the square of sndbox.
Thank you, Donna! First time I thought on trying same square hairs but I've tried it for few times already in past contests so for now decided to go with round shape :)
I wonder how can he sit in that position. He must be a gymnastic.
Yes, I was thinking to make him sit in that yogic posture. Though don't really know if it's obvious or just strange looking :)
Very cool! I think I'll try to whip something up for this as well.
Thank you! ❤️ You should definitely try! I am sure you will get some more exposure and joy participating.
