I think that there is only few companies that's the reason they are charging to much high prices.
I think that government just love to take taxes and do not want to deliver to people :( Really sad :( that's double standard called. Is not it?
I just read this https://vulcanpost.com/8175/did-you-know-in-the-philippines-people-pay-more-for-slower-internet/ post and it is really surprising for me that in your country they are charging to much from you guys with slow speed internet :(

Yes, with monopolistic scheme, the people would suffer but something is being done by president Duterte so that there would arise a sensible competition for ISPS's so that prices would go down eventually.
After reading this still do not understand what's going on there?? :( :( everything going wrong :( Really sad
I read above link find that
Medicines, for instance. I cannot forget the account of a lymphoma patient when I was training in the Philippine General Hospital: The patient’s family members would fly to India just to buy Mabthera (Rituximab); it was cheaper to go there—airfare and all—and buy the drug for around P30,000 a vial, than to buy the same vial here for P90,000.
http://opinion.inquirer.net/103710/more-expensive-in-the-philippinesIt is really bad of all what can do poor patient who do not have enough income sources :( just they are not checking companies which are charging so much high amount of medicines, Really sad :(
Yeah that's great of president Duterte, he is creating competition so prices will go down soon.
