Hunts Showdown : Press F to Die

in #sndbox7 years ago

HUNT is a third-person action game where up to four players band together to fend off an onslaught of bloodthirsty creatures and track down breathtaking bosses. Featuring intense co-op gameplay, HUNT is the debut title from Crytek USA Corp., and will be published by Crytek as part of their growing Games-as-a-Service range

Well as I mentioned several times before I have been always jumping in most of the hype trains in the gaming industry , therefore when I first saw this game and watch some streamers playing it I instantly bought it. I thought it would be refreshing to play some Mmorpg Sandbox style shooting game , so my first impression was I hope it wasn't a mindless fps shooter game.

Well eventhough I promised myself I won't play any closed alpha game ever again I couldn't resisst my patriotic feelings in this one because the creator of the game is a Turkish Game Dev called Fatih Özbayram and Yes! You guessed it right it is the same developer with the famous series Crysis. However as he said it was essential for them to get participants in closed beta in order to continue their development process.

Gameplay and First Insights

The gameplay is pretty simple , you enter the game shoot down some zombies and some players and earn some money , when you complete every task and kill the boss in the map after defeating your foes you get rewarded with xp and money and that money and xp will provide you the opportunity to buy stronger mega weapons to get more power. So if you want to be stronger you need to grind as an instance eventhough I died pretty fast in the game I played 4 hours and I only reached level 3 or something like that but it is probably my bad.

The most annoying thing for me was the F Button because it doesn't work if you don't bandage yourself while you are moving it just resets the animation so I died couple of times because of that and except the regular monsters others are pretty deadly , by deadly I mean 1 shot.

There are some good parts of the game however I couldn't say my experience was decent and I tried to refund it yesterday but Gaben didn't accept my request because I already played more than an hour.

My first complain is about the pyshic engine , it doesn't feel right when I play the game , the movement style is kind of annoying and eventhough the shooting is accurate I just didn't like how the characters move and interact with the objects in the game.

Second one is game provides a decent experience with the improved audio and video , however other than that it gets pretty dull because it becomes just grinding to reach level 90 or something to get some buffs and new weapons , however I find this game pretty expensive for a closed beta and definetely not worth to play.

It's too bad that it's meh. The imagery seems really unique--at least for someone like me who likes watching people play games and not necessarily play them.

is this real or you are just...
