We are lucky on hive. Not only do we have the possibility to create long form content and earn with it, we have even several platforms that enable us to earn for doing tweet like posts. We have Ecency waves, Inleo threads, Liketu moments and Peakd snaps. All these platforms make it possible to create short form content that is considered the same as any other post on hive. The way these platforms are build, the content that you create is nothing else than a comment that you put under a container post of the according platform.
Is it good that we have 4 different platforms for the same purpose? I'm not so sure about that because it spreads the interaction and reduces the interaction on each of them. The result is a bit a stale activity on most of the platforms.
I would like to talk about something else for just a moment. You will understand later why.
A recurrent problem on hive. Things are developed but nobody knows about it
Now there is a thing on Hive that I have noticed for a long time. We have great things being developed but these things are often lacking adoption or are simply not known by the wast majority of users. The fact that the development is often ignored by a wast majority is reducing the synergy effect of what is being developed. Let me explain: Developer A develops app A and Developer B develops app B. They both develop in their corner and both apps die because they lack exposure. This is double bad because app A linked with app B would have been a match in heaven which could have revolutionized Hive.
An exception to the rule
I was very happy to see that there are some exceptions to this rule. There is a very specific exception related to the short form content platforms. We have on one side these platforms that have been developed and on the other side with have the project called commentrewarder that was developed in a totally different context. For once, some people have seen that the combination of these two tools could be a kind of revolution.
How commentrewarder improves short form platforms
The concept of commentrewarder is as follows: a post creator can dedicate a percentage of the post rewards to the commentrewarder project. At the end of the 7 days, this part of the earnings will be distributed to people commenting on the post. The only thing that needs to be done is to upvote the people who should get the rewards by the author of the post. This is a great feature to encourage engagement on hive posts.
Both Ecency Waves and Peakd Snaps put 99% post rewards to commentrewarder on their container posts
Since the short form content platforms actually work like hive posts, Ecency waves and Peakd snaps have realized that this would be a great way to boost their platforms. The idea is simply, they put 99% of the container post rewards to commentrewarder and they then upvote some content that generated a lot of interaction. After 7 days, the people who were active on waves and snaps not only get the normal rewards from the comments that they generated, they get in addition to that rewards from commentrewarder. These rewards can be quite interesting.
My earnings from a couple of posts on snaps through commentrewarder
Not only this represents double income for the people creating waves or snaps, it also allows the platforms to incentivise the activity that they want to push.
For the moment inleo threads and liketu moments aren't using commentrewarder but I think it's just a matter of time until they adopt it as well.
With @ph1102, I'm running the @liotes project.

This is good thanks for sharing.
Thanks for stopping by!
You are welcome sir thanks for sharing.
How do you select @commentrewarder in a snap post?
It's actually the creator of the container posts that selects it. For snaps it's peakd.snaps and it's set at 99%. They can then upvote the snaps that they like or that generated a lot of interaction. Accordingly the post rewards of the container post will be distributed.
Yeah, loving the synergy of waves and threads and snaps… these short form front ends are great new additions to Hive!
Add in commentrewarder and boom, even more synergy!
The only think that is lacking for the moment is a bit more activity on these platforms but I think they bring a very nice dynamic into the ecosystem and hopefully it may attract even some people from outside.
Comment rewarded was a great idea to incentivize interaction on Hive. Thanks for the info
@tipu curate
Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 28/38) Liquid rewards.
combined withe snaps and waves, it's really a great combination. The platforms can decide what activity they want to incentivise.
I'm using commentrewarder on my long posts, and works well. But I'm not sure how to setup @commentrewarder at Waves? How?
It's not you who sets it up but when they create a container post with ecency.waves they can set it. Then they need to vote on waves with that same account. I just double checked. They have started to vote only yesterday, so it may take some time to be visible in the rewards...
That's good, then. We have comment rewards once in ArchonTribe communities, we offer Archon tokens, I hope we'll be successful to setup again with the new owner and new team.
This was a mini revolution at Hive! I hope these tools will be a boost for new user retention!
I think it can help in this direction.
This could potentially draw a lot of traffic over here to HIVE!
It could be a nice magnet to attract people from outside. Where do you get paid for sharing tweets...
Yeah commentrewarder is an interesting concept. Have used it several times too!

Combined with snaps or waves, it's a great combination I believe.
@achim03, @relf87(4/5) sent you LUV. | tools | discord | community | HiveWiki | <>< daily
I didn't know the some short form apps share their rewards with select comments. Very nice! !BBH
It's a nice thing and people proably are not aware of it. This could lead to more activity :-)

Comment Rewarder is pretty ingenious! It certainly pays then to be interactive there compared to other places.
You don't get paid on x I believe ;-). It's a good system and I hope people will adopt it more and more.
@tipu curate
Thanks for the curation!
How to in Waves? Thanks
In waves it works exactly the same. The container posts have commentrewarder as beneficiary and the container post creator simply has to reward who he wants to.
Let me check, I don't see it. Thanks
You will only see it after 7 days.
I mean, I'm sending a post on Waves, I want to add commentrewarder as beneficiary on that post. How? Where?
I just checked about waves, they actually only have started to vote on content yesterday. So it will take some time to be visible.
Ok, thanks. I get it now.
Wow! Thanks for the great news. 💕

Interesting! I didn't know commentrewarder is a beneficiary on the waves and snap containers. Talking about synergy... Although someone has to upvote big time the container posts. Otherwise, what rewards does commentrewarder distributes? Or am I missing something?
I have noticed the continuing adoption of comment rewarder. I had no idea they teamed up with those short form platforms! Pure genius! But that just goes to show that we are in the dark about news and updates. Sometimes I find out about something really cool or important only because I was lucky enough to see one of my following shared the post.
I discovered several interesting projects by similar coincidences as well. Maybe a global notification would be better for some really important matters? But maybe a small, recurring, unsolicited notification would still be overlooked
and maybe even annoying
