Agreed. I have seen too many nurseries neglecting the 'fun' of kids who just want to kick ball - replacing such with military, if technically useful exercises.
Kids want to play - and preferably win - they may be too young to know better. ^_^

Kids learn while they are playing. It is in their nature that they want to win, learn, and explode.
Absolutely. :c) I think that you meant 'explore' but letting their energy explode and run amuck in a game for a while sounds like a great way to mellow kids down for an afternoon or evening. ^_^
It might work and sometimes it won't. Today he still had so much energy until 10 p.m. after a whole day in the park.
