Usain Bolt is set to join Borussia Dortmund on Friday for his first ever football training session. He has likened his natural talent for running to that of Barcelona forward Lionel Messi for football. The 31 year-old who is the current 100-metre world-record holder had retired from athletics in August 2017 having won eight Olympic gold medals and been crowned world champion 11 times.
As quoted from Omnisport, "Messi is very talented, From what I've learned and listened to over the years, Cristiano had to work to get where he is. I was born with speed and had a lot of talent [like Messi]."
Bolt has expressed his interest to play football professionally and is a big fan of Manchester United. He will get his chance for a big break when he impresses the coaches at Borussia Dortmund and hopefully be able to play for his beloved Manchester United.
