If you are a user who does have a big fanbase somewhere else and have been posting a lot here on Steemit it doesn't mean that you will necessarily get a lot of attention here.
True. And even if you'll make a good promo to get your fanbase to register on Steemit - they all will be minnows and their numerous votes will not give you much post payout. That is why some "celebs" will not be a success here.
It also depends on the content and fanbase, it's not a surprise that with the attention cryptocurrencies are getting in general that the vast majority of Steem users like to reward posts about them still.
Yep. Nowadays mostly blockchain and crypto blogers/vlogers are on the wave here. As soon as crypto will be legal in most of the countries and people will be able to buy a coffee with crypto without any problems (like VISA ban for all crypto cards) we will see the secod and much bigger wave of new celebs and followers here. And the real "party hard" will start)
