It's not for nothing that psychologists are looking at their patients for the roots of their pressing problems in their childhood.
Everything good or bad situations, smells, sounds and the like that every person experienced as a child, for the first time in his life, and this is remembered in a special way and laid deep and specifically in his mind all this his brain associates with adult life (when there are any similar situations). And involuntarily reacts as well as in childhood, when this first occurred in his life.

The person himself, perhaps, does not recall what exactly happened with him earlier and does not know that his brain secretively responds to a similar smell or sound or situation "according to old memory". Therefore, we seem to be lovely and unforgettable songs, films, books, the information of which was absorbed in childhood. These feelings stay with us for a long time, some all along.
It turns out that most of the brightest impressions of life and sensations, joyful, or negative from anything the sources of all this must be sought at the beginning of our lives.
That is an incredibly elloquent yet simple description of our evolution as human beings. Very beautifully put.
