Here are the High Laws of Social Harmony of the Taraman Exemplars:
Strive to establish a firm austerity as a guide to subdue and to direct our behavior. It regulates our thoughts, tempers our actions, and crushes every rebellion that seeks to take root in our mind. Austerity belongs to the wise, while the fool destroys himself for lack of it. Every virtue of high character rests upon austerity, and every foolish act stems from the lack of it.
He that rules well rules himself well and successful self-rule demands excellence in the service of others. Be a servant to all, because everyone profits from the king who makes himself a servant and from a servant that serves faithfully, as though the kingdom were his own.
Your word governs your life; know it without a doubt, speak it without need for regret, and execute it with the full conviction that to do otherwise would be a crime against yourself.
Obtain the good that you seek by doing the good that you can, step by step, aiming at great things but not impatient to attain them.
Establish the truth first through honesty, secondly by knowledge, and finally by virtue of having lived it unconditionally.
That which remains long in salt becomes salt. Therefore, surround yourself with people who are conducive to your being what you wish to become.
In everything that you do, withhold no mercy, tolerate no injustice, and the good that is within your power, do with all your might.
Finally, it behooves the Taraman master candidate to arm himself well with all the laws and principles outlined above and with a deep and enduring devotion. He must go into this spiritual journey as a master warrior would go into battle; with caution, reverence, vigilance, and with the perfect confidence that comes with knowing that the battle will not be decided either by victory or by death, for it was won in that moment when he first set out to conquer himself.
