I began my Sunday like most others- a little hungover with a to-do list the size of my arm and several plans which I had 0 motivation to actually do. In fact, today I was supposed to be going on a date. Nothing wrong with the guy- nice looking, chatty and I've known of him for a couple of years. However, a slight language barrier (I live in Spain and my Spanish is better than his English, which is never a good sign). Plus, I currently have an extreme shortage of clothes- a visit to the laundromat was also on the to-do list (also stressful but, at this point, unavoidable).
Anyway, I was sitting in my towel on my bed, worrying about everything I had to do instead of actually doing it and then I realised that my WhatsApp messages weren't sending. Not only this, but Facebook and Instagram weren't working either. I restarted the phone, Wifi, tried my data...nothing. After consulting Google, I found that there have been problems world-wide with the three platforms.
Freedom! I've decided to dedicate the day to productiveness- to plan my classes for tomorrow (I'm an English teacher), clean my tip of a bedroom, finish a book I've been reading and to face my mountain of laundry. AND I've finally written my first blog post here!
In fact, I've turned my Wifi off on my phone... just in case the social networks start to work again ;).
