I don't expect such a thing to happen, and I don't think it's possible for this to happen. The main difference between Facebook and Facebook is the monetary reward system. Many people are using the Steemit because of this award-winning and great feature, and if the reward system is disabled, Steemit is likely to lose the number of users.

Another important reason why this cannot happen in the future is that Steemit itself is a block chain technology with many decentralized Applications installed. This means that there are many projects that have been built and built on the Steem block chain, which means that it can affect such projects if something happens to Steemit.

As a result, I don't believe such a thing will happen in the future, because the reward system makes Steemit a unique and different platform from other social media networks. All you have to do is to protect Steeming and continue to earn steeper tokens as your reward on the platform.
