A marketing guy I was working with recommended that I joined Twitter to reach a new group of people. That was the reason I joined Steemit anyway, so even though I'm not a huge social media fan I took the plunge and I now have a Twitter page.
My Facebook page (Lewis J F Clarke) is still far more popular than my Steemit and Twitter pages, but I'm happy to keep all three going if it means reaching a new clientele for my books.
