How Society Can Teach Men to Be Better People

A society (yes ik funny Joker haha line) where men are indoctrinated to believing that they either have to be a macho man who "gets all the girls" or they are seen as an invalid by the people around them. Also a lot of them end up with huge egos because of it because they are not only aware of privilege they hold but also they are aware of many things they can use that privilege for and against people with.

This is why I like to steer myself clear of that stereotype, being a cis man. I want to be able to just be a guy and make friends with literally anyone regardless of gender or sexual orientation or race or anything. I want friends that are just people. And unfortunately many men are not like that. Many men disrespect their partners, lie, swindle, cheat, and maim (in extreme cases) the ones they are supposed to love.

So, I think that there's always room to be better in society. There's always room to grow and change. But also, we need to learn how to truly teach men to be better people, rather than being better men. Not sure if that makes sense.
