I am not sure where or how Molyneux claims that "violence occurs solely because of economic disparity". You should listen to his presentations on the causes of crime - he claims that violence comes from violent culture, that crime causes poverty, not the other way around.
As for open markets - the way you understand it is different from the way I would define it. In my version of a free market I don't think you'll find the concept of a patent as currently defined.
