Love all, trust a few,
Do wrong to none:

be able for thine enemy
Rather in power than use,

and keep thy friend
Under thy own life’s key: be check’d for silence,
But never tax’d for speech.

William Shakespeare, “All’s Well That Ends Well”

We are living in tumultuous times. I see a world of people wrestling a spiritual battle where that voice of wisdom inside is shaken. The universal language of peace that was once innate is fading into an ancient and soon to be mythic part of our humanity. Children get it. They know that you need to play nice to make friends. Play is their devotion.

To feel disconnected from friend, family or neighbor is bewildering. To be present to amplifications of fear, disdain, and hate is deafening. But despite a storm of emotion around you, you feel at bay. You come from generations of people that loved and played well together.

Find that quiet place, you must! Say it in a Yoda voice, you must.
Several times over.

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
