Something that you may want to get in the habit of @ganjafarmer is that every time you disconnect the inverter from the battery turn the power button on and bleed off the residual power that is in the device, then turn the button back off. This will save you from either burning it up or blowing the fuses if you accidentally touch the lead wires together. I learned that the hard way with inverters about fifteen years ago.
