I'm getting ready for winter with 4 new solar panels. I used pallets to mount them and ice& water for waterproofing. For $500, the power generation is about to more than double!
PS, I'm tagging earthship b/c the foundations of the structures are earth-rammed tires, and much of the inspiration for my 'build style', including Ferro-cement domes, comes from Mike Reynolds and Earthship Biotecture.
That's an interesting solar setup. What it the wattage output of each panel?
All 100w off Amazon. HQST in the fore and Renogy in the back. HQST are a little cheaper, but Renogy are higher quality I think. Both real simple to hook up, basically plug & play
Good planning!
Wish I knew more about solar and the set up. I'd live
I’m fascinated by Earthship. Upvoting and following
Great job, going solar and choosing eco-friendly techniques. Do you get cold winters?
