Living in Korea was not my most enjoyable adventure, but it was an excellent introduction to living abroad. Korea is unique in the sense that East truly meets West regarding architecture and food.
The biggest thing that hit me was the language barrier. I experienced illiteracy for the first time in my adult life. Everything was in Korean. It wasn't until my visit to Seoul that I saw signs in both English and Korean. I felt a bit more at home.
My whole life changed in Korea. I purchased my first Macbook Pro.
I went on my first adult vacation to Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand.
Met my first love.
Got pregnant with my first child.
And I learned how to make things that I want happen and be happy.

The trick is to keep it real :). Next, I'll talk about NZ.
