But, it is worth noting that if you find yourself in the shadow of the Earth, the temperature drops to -160 °C.

Yeah, that is another myth. It will take some time to freeze and that happens only in certain conditions. The most likely scenario is that the body swells to twice it size because there is no atmospheric pressure in space.
