There's a brand new technology in Belgium since this summer. They invented it due to corona having all the poor people (amounting to about 15% now i suppose) facing difficulties contacting official instances and anything over distance since phone-credit prices are just as exuberant as anything else here
Middle class, retail and banks are struggling to understand how it works in a race where first comes first takes.
After all,
right after the invention of the telegraph in 1830 yesterday its quite something to digest. It's free, homeless people with wi-fi can use it, its like guaranteed to either arrive or return to sender and
best of all, if you register with a company its impossible that you land in their spamfilter (since you're obviously whitelisted as a client)
Some older institutions might still use the old excuses since, after all its only a few months old, brand new hi-tek ...
But they're trying VERY hard ...
other than that, you know : HIRING EXTRA PEOPLE ?
what does that mean ... "we are understaffed due to corona, we apologize for the inconvenience"
in the middle of :
"we will pay you to open a free account that comes free of transaction cost with free debet cards and no limit after which costs incur"
and for that we'll pay you €50
https://secure.hellobank.be/web_hb_subscribe#page=page-0
they're kinda desperate
meanwhile paypal still asks for "bank statements" (lol) as proof of ownership ...
i havent seen a "bank statement" in maybe eight years or more
you specifically have to request them due to the cost of paper and printing they're probably not even free
STRANGE how some parts of the world actually manage to be in 2020
but there's hope
someone in the E.U. woke up last month and suddenly they're investing in everything from A.I. to a fucking defense against meteors ...
check it
geen stront kimosabe (but that must some kind of forbidden stereotype now probably so forget that and)
They're on the move, just like automation ... the online banks, NIBC direct came in fresh with the "noworries everythings done" (meaning the tax on all your super-money and stuff, which is automatically deducted if you have an account with a bank here - which is not the tax you pay on your income and not the tax you pay on certain transactions and not the tax you would pay on purchasing, its simply the tax on money at the end of the year)
And now , this must be the biggest stunt i have seen so far like ever from a bank here :
"we will pay you 50 euros" if you open a free account for free
...
(they have callcenters ofcourse, but the overhead of anything else they don't ... like all automation including flippy the robot eating your jobs at mcdonalds the only solution is
to stop breeding)
and so they can do that i guess
its 2020 ... Kraken become a crypto BANK
wallstreet is doing crypto
the swiss exchange is doing crypto
if you arent
you're probably a bit behind with your bank
or ... shop ...
or ... yea , whatever heeeeeehh
good thing im the crazy bum with nothing being no one or i could be taken seriously
but usually that stops with up the ass is about the extent ot where im taking seriously, to quote 50 cent (again) : they like that better
yo hierze maat
8 miljaar in supercomputers
money against meteor strikes (probably helps a lot against other incoming moving stuff if they can pull that off ... as a side effect ..)
its really like someone woke up last week .. so i wonder where the money comes from btw b/c no one has any
but thats never a problem for government
still waiting for that €500 a week corona stimulues cheque but i doubt thats gonna happen here
there's too many refugees to pay for (ouch ...)
cant blame the refugees ... if a system has a hole it WILL be used
if i lived in a country where they lop my head off for not quoting god fast enough or they rape my daughter for being the wrong clan or they give me the choice to either eat my enemies heart to get stronger or take a bullet to the head
you know, and then some place comes up like : HEY YO : here's a house, and some money , come over ! its cosy
i'd take it, you know ...
its the people who create the system that are responsible, not the ones using it there
but the consequences are what they are ...
politically speaking, very visible in the last decade
