I've recently taken the suggestion of a friend to start on a new game called Exode(https://exode.io/). It is still in the development stage, but appears to hold promise for entertainment. As commander of a crew, your 1st task is to evacuate on your ship from a space station that is being attacked. With a limited amount of time you must repair your hyperdrive, refuel your ship, and fill your ship with as much cargo and people as you can before you are killed.
Before you begin you must pick your commander, ship and crew from a series of cards. Then equip them with guns, ammo and drugs in order to survive the onslaught of crazed and desperate people fleeing the station. Next your crew is born from the cards you picked and you are able to create profiles for each. Here your characters get some random stats, you may assign some points and unlock other skills and rename your characters. once you are finished building your crew, the game starts with crew members in random parts of the ship. you must click on each and assign them things to do before you escape. Be aware your ship can only hold so much, so you must defend while you take what you can, before departing.
Once you launch from the station, evacuation is over and your next step begins. The next stage consists of using your crew to avoid detection, scan for a suitable planet to land on and assigning crew to do things on the ship. This part is still a bit glitchy so remember this is a work in progress that is ongoing. With more stages still to come including landing safely on your planet and building your colony.
So if you like space games, this might be something you may like, hope to see you out there.
