TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL.
This has always been my mantra in life. That is why in everything I do and will do, I always make sure I do not lose my sense of integrity especially at work or my relationship with other people. I am a firm believer that no matter how hard you try to hide the truth, it will always float like an oil mixed in a glass of water, eventually.
So I really wonder why there are still some people who'd rather fake their identities and all or use other people's credentials just so they could benefit from it.
Don't they have sense of originality?
Don't they believe in their own capabilities?
Or what is their real purpose of doing so?
It was on July 9th when I received a message from @indayclara that went like this:
When I received the message, I immediately opened it and reacted a ❤️ emoji to it. But I replied to her a few minutes after since I was so busy with school works at that time. I asked her what was that about.
All I thought was that she created another account for me to widen my scope of blogging or it's another platform that was related to Hive.
But then she asked me if I joined BLURT. In my mind, I was like "WHAT IS BLURT?"
I had no idea what that was and it was honestly my first time hearing the word (it even sounded weird to me).
So @indayclara explained to me what happened and that the account was copying all of my posts here on Hive. It even used my username, profile and cover photo. And when I opened the link back again, I saw that it had been happening for quite a while now.
I REALLY HAD NO IDEA. Those times, I was so busy with school works, layouting and printing our school program, finishing all the school forms and preparing for end of school year rites, going to places for some important matters and by that, I was not able to check my account on Hive and not even able to post for how many weeks. I just made a promise to myself that when all the school works are done, I'll get back to posting on Hive.
The occurrence devastated me. I felt like the roof fell onto my head when it occurred to me that my blogs were plagiarized and IT IS THE ONE THING I WAS ALWAYS AFRAID OF. But I never thought it would really happen.
I already committed myself to Hive and never planned of having my words going anywhere but here.
I was mad. And afraid. And anxious.
What if I'll be kicked out here on Hive because of that?
I got a lot of thoughts but I kept my composure because my conscience were clear.
It bothered me but I was positive that the TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL.
Here are some of my original Hive posts and the fake Blurt posts:
I am always thankful to @indayclara for letting me know and to @ybanezkim26 for noticing.
So here's what we did. @indayclara made sure she'll help me investigate who was behind the account so she sent a message to me yesterday that I should report the fake account on BLURT.
She let me install the BLURT OFFICIAL DISCORD APP, I registered and accepted her invite. I then posted on Blurt about copycat account who imitates my username and profile and copy-pasted my blogs from Hive. Good thing they were fast enough in making a move and investigating the account.
Here's their reply:
They found out who made the account and said it was created two months after I joined Hive.
I was glad the truth finally came out and I just hope that these kinds of people will learn their lessons and I hope they are going to believe in their own potentials rather than copying other people's work which would lead to the possible fallout of the latter.

There are a lot out there! Good thing kim and clara noticed and took action to inform you. It's a bad feeling knowing someone is copying everything you posted.
Hopefully, the Blurt higher up has already taken action against the copycat.

I was hacked before and they stole over 700 HIVE, so it happens, sadly, but we just fight on and at least it shows u that they felt ur posts were soooo good, that they could make some easy money by copying u! :P
It's so sad knowing there are people like them. Sad for two reasons: 1. They steal someone's identity for their own good and can harm someone; 2. It's sad to know that they do not believe in their own capabilities that they just tend to steal someone's contents just so they could have it as their own.
By the way, 700 HIVE is really a lot of hardwork and perseverance and just so sad that others would just steal and benefit from it without even working hard for it.

The Blurt discord officials have investigated the issue and found out who created the fake account on Blurt. Good thing they made a move as soon as possible. Thankful to the people who informed me about this one.
