Another sleepless night, started with this post:
Finished this morning at 128 accounts owned by this person. Most of them post stolen images, there are a few different techniques used across all the accounts. There are 18 achrafXX accounts, and 110 under different names that all work together. The majority of it is automated and not all the accounts are actively posting right now but most are.
These all have been added to @buildawhale's blacklist although not all of them use vote bots, many take advantage of @esteems free votes and many get almost no rewards but just spam with little to no rewards.
These are some of the core accounts that act as a hub for the network but they are many branches.

Example of one of the branches is kendall12 which creates a few accounts that end with 12. Can tell the user isn't very clever.
As far as I can see, it isn't very profitable as he has no steem power to push them up nor the funds to buy a large number of votes.

yeah i have noticed quite a few accounts that post comments that "are my own comments from a previous post" as comments on a current post.
I cant believe how extensive this is! The amount of resources you devote and time spent must be enormous. Its such a service to the community to protect its integrity, without people like you out there pulling the weeds, we would never enjoy the fruits of our garden. If spam accounts and bots take over Steem, the platform will die. Thank you again.

You are right about achraf he is a spammer and we told him to stop this , he is using more than 30+ accounts ( he is my friend and he tell me that he have many accounts but I don't know the exact number of his accounts)

I love steemit, yet with the vested interest of money as an option, human nature has kicked in and it is not like a mini version of the business world outside. I still love it here, but it certainly makes for less interesting content. I don't use reddit, but that seems to be a place where people turn to for content when they want to know something.

Well done mate. This is more widespread than many might imagine. I just posted a ring to Steemcleaners last night, but another which looks dodgy is a whole community, bescouted. So many accounts there with the same MO, account opened same month, posting 6 to 10 single pics a day without metadata....all single syllable names etc etc...hope you get chance to take a look :-)

If I were scammer I would began to think about my behaviour. But they are safe. Their investmen is protected by blockchain protocol.
Bescouted is an awesome site. Have you checked out bescouted.com? It was a previously existing photo community that integrated into the blockchain and encouraged its members to acquire & link Steem accounts. Similarities in join dates, post formats etc. are most likely due to their interactions being done through bescouted.com and not Steemit. They’ve announced the intent to launch an SMT, apparently secured outside investor funding, and are in some direct contact with Steemit Inc.
Seriously, make a quick account, log into bescouted.com and play around. It’s one of the earliest and best examples of how existing sites can leverage the Steem blockchain. No scam ring bothered to build that interface!

I have invited a friend who has done all the procedure and just waiting for the confirmation mail 9 days now...

There are ways to get accounts instantly and can automate the process. But I believe these were made by hand and then the content has been scripted.

Whoever own these shits, he/she sure is extremely greedy.
The strange part is he wasn't even making much as no one was upvoting that shit and he has no SP. Got some good votes from esteem which he took advantage of. It's more about the endless spam and bloat.
But 128 accounts costs more than 600 Steem. If those accounts were created for free then steemit.com took the hit. Otherwise those guys ended up expending more than USD 2,400

There's a whole network of these kind of accounts that have been spamming dMania lately as well. They'll be 50+ votes and comments from the same group of "people" within a minute. They all are new accounts, all have near identical SP, all have no posts themselves, and all appear to be pooling from the same master list of comments (because they'll alternate which comments each one leaves, with the same mispellings and grammar errors). They've been circumventing the 1 dMania bot pick per day (last I checked, posts by this group of accounts had 5 of the last 7 dMania Bot picks), in addition to shitposting and voting up a select few accounts.
Here's just a few of the user ID's and you can easily see that they're blatantly gaming the system...
