Seguimos con los clásicos alemanes, en este caso se trata de una Maibock de la cervecera Ayinger.
La fábrica de cerveza artesana Ayinger, también llamadacomo Privatbrauerei Ayinger, etá situada en el precioso pueblo de Aying, a unos 25 kilómetros al sur de Múnich, Alemania. Fue fundada en 1878 por Johann Liebhard, y actualmente está bajo la dirección de Franz Inselkammer III.

Ayinger siempre ha destacado por su calidad y es una de las marcas más reconocidas y valoradas de todo Alemania. En los últimos años se está abriendo a nuevas técnicas y estilos, algo que es muy raro dentro de las cerveceras clásicas alemanas muy sujetas a sun métodos tradicionales y sus leyes de pureza.
El estilo Maibock o Heller Bock es un tipo de cerveza que se elabora principalmente en primavera, ya que su nombre proviene de "Mai", que significa mayo en alemán. Suelen ser cervezas fuertes y con cuerpo.
La Maibock de ayinger es fiel al estilo y presenta un color oscuro y dorado muy brillante y está coronada por una espuma densa y persistente. Su aroma es mayormente a maltas tostadas y a pan recién horneado. Su sabor es un equilibrio perfecto entre las maltas y el dulzor, con un amargor medio muy agradable. También presenta matices a toffe, nueces y caramelo. Sus casi 7º de alcohol pasan desapercibidos.

Its nearly 7% alcohol content is easily noticeable.
