T-REX de Kom Beer (Esp-Eng)

in #spanish2 months ago

Cerveza: T-REX
Cervecera: KOM Beer (Manlleu, Cataluña)
Estilo: Imperial IPA / Doble NEIPA
Alcohol:
Lúpulo: Moutere, Nelson Sauvin y Citra
IBU: 24

Second beer of the batch of two that I acquired from the KOM beer brewery. I have always liked their beers, masterfully brewed and framed in what I call a modern IPA, where the bitterness takes a backseat and the fruit is free among the dominant flavors of the beer. In my opinion, when this happens, the beer stops being an IPA. It would be necessary to invent another name or classify them within the Fruit IPA. Because NEIPA or Hazy IPA, two relatively new styles, although they taste like fruit, have not lost their essence and still have bitterness. This is what happens with this beer. But... colors vary according to taste and they must always be respected.

Beer: T-REX
Brewery: KOM Beer (Manlleu, Catalonia)
Style: Imperial IPA / Double NEIPA
Alcohol:
Hops: Moutere, Nelson Sauvin and Citra
IBU: 24
Format: 440 ml can

As I said, it looks more like a juice than a beer. So much so that although it has 8º, these are not noticeable. On the other hand, the flavor is like unripe fruit, like green, and leaves an aftertaste that doesn't convince me.
Come on, I didn't like the beer.
But I will continue buying from this brand. Anyone has a mistake.
