Hola amigos Steemitn´s, en esta oportunidad les muestro imágenes del Castillo de Karlstejn, de estilo gótico, construido en el siglo XIII aproximadamente en 1348, ubicado a 30km de Praga República Checa.

Se construyó por instrucciones de Carlos IV Rey checo, también emperador del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico y Rey de Bohemia, con la finalidad de resguardar los tesoros y joyas de la corona.
Se presume que la obra fue realizada por Matías de Arrás, lo mismo no ha sido comprobado, la obra duró 17 años su construcción, una vez finalizada la Capilla de la Santa Cruz.

Debido a las guerras husitas y la guerra de los treinta años, los tesoros resguardados en el Castillo fueron trasladados a diversos lugares para su resguardo, siendo Praga su destino final en 1619.
Due to the wars Husitas and the war of the thirty years, the treasures guarded in the Castle were transferred to diverse places for their shelter, being Prague its final destiny in 1619.
En lo que respecta a su estilo gotico original también sufrió a lo largo de la historia modificaciones debido a las diversas remodelaciones realizadas en consecuencia a un incendio en 1480 y otros acontecimientos históricos que afectaron la estructura del Castillo. En 1899 fue restaurado por Josef Mocker ofreciendo su aspecto actual.
In regards to its original Gothic style it also suffered modifications throughout history due to the various renovations carried out as a result of a fire in 1480 and other historical events that affected the structure of the Castle. In 1899 it was restored by Josef Mocker offering his current appearance.
