El idioma español, un idioma tan rico y beneficiado por una palabra para cada cosa, sentimiento o emoción. Es tan variado que realmente es muy fácil confundirse en su uso, incluso en el día a día cometemos errores usando las palabras incorrectas.
De pequeño es muy común recibir regaños y sermones a causa de una tremendura. Quién en su niñez no rompió un valioso adorno de mamá? O fue encontrado jugando videojuegos pasada la medianoche. Luego de esto tocaba enfrentar la inminente furia de madre o padre, tal vez la de ambos.
A todas estas, yo escuchaba palabras como: “Javier, no puedes hacer esto” “No puedes hacer aquello” “No puedes incendiar el auto por diversión Javier” (la última es broma... O no? Hue hue hue)
Y la verdad es que la palabra “puedes” siempre me causó ruido, porqué si puedo hacerlo. El problema reside en no querer hacerlo por las consecuencias que estas acciones acarrean.
Poder: tener facultad o capacidad de hacer algo.
Querer: necesitar, requerir.
Hay cosas, acciones que realmente queremos, mas no necesitamos. Necesitamos comer, pero no necesitamos que la persona que queremos nos envíe un mensaje. Necesitamos respirar, mas no necesitamos ese nuevo teléfono que salió.
Es imprescindible entender y poder separar lo que necesitamos de lo que no, hago énfasis en esto dado que descubrí que puede ser realmente beneficioso para nosotros. La tranquilidad no tiene precio y ciertamente el saber diferenciar estas dos palabras, nos lleva un paso más en busca de esa tranquilidad y felicidad por las cosas comunes y sencillas de la vida.

El concepto está tambien en ingles. Probabalmente ya sabes pero ingles es mi idioma primer y por eso quero decirlo. Lo siento si escribo mal español, pero quiero decir algo.

I love spanish, I've taken three years worth of classes to attempt learning it, and the majority of my friends are lifelong speakers of both english and spanish. I've always been fascinated with the concept of being bilingual, which is sort-of what I'm attempting to become. I just have found a lot of libertarians on this platform that, while agreeing on some points, just get angry upon reading my articles. I try to avoid making people angry as I don't have room for negativity in my life. I hate political correctness as much as the next guy, I guess that seperates me from my fellow liberals.

Un ejemplo es la misma palabra, pero en ingles. Es muy común decir "Can I use the bathroom?" cuando es mas corecto decir "May I use the bathroom?". Es muy obvio que puedes usar el baño, pero la pregunta es para permitir. Pienso es la misma cosa en español, ya sé dicen "Puedes usar el baño" como "Can I use the bathroom". (I hope that made sense, I prefer to speak to people en the language they use most if possible)
