Very well said @anaivelazco31. The biggest reminder you gave is that nobody asks to be a refugee. Nobody wants to leave their home and nobody should have to endure that kind of life. Sadly, the world is breaking before our eyes. The people that are affected have no say except to leave to try and find a better life. The people that want to help, are powerless to do so. And it is becoming more and more apparent, governments are failing and failing miserably. We had wars to do away with monarchies so people did not have to live under the whims of another, that they would be under a rule that is 'just'. Yet we still have dictators, genocide and hatred so thick you choke on it. What is it going to take to get people to understand that we're all affected by what happens no matter where it is. That we are not just citizens of our respective countries, we are all citizens of the world/the planet. I think the middle majority needs to figure out how to get rid of the extremes.
