Hace ahora tres años que se abrieron las puertas del magnífico acuario denominado “Poema del mar”.
Desde que se declaró el confinamiento a principios de marzo, ha permanecido cerrado. Sin embargo más de 30 biólogos y otros trabajadores mantienen y cuidan los 30.000 seres vivos que allí habitan.
Hace justamente ahora un año que fuimos a visitarlo junto con nuestros queridísimos amigos. Pasamos una mañana fantástica e hicimos muchas fotos. Luego disfrutamos felices de una gran comida. Quien nos iba decir entonces a nosotros que pronto la pandemia nos cambiaría la vida!
Poema del mar es un lugar muy especial y relajante. Es una visita imprescindible si se va a la ciudad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
El recorrido está acompañado, en todo momento, de una música suave consiguiendo una memorable experiencia sensorial.
Poema del mar está dividido en tres partes:
La primera zona es la dedicada a los ecosistemas de agua dulce. Esta parte es la que denominan “La jungla”
La segunda parte es “El Arrecife” y en ella han instalado una pecera gigante en forma de cilindro donde hay una gran variedad de corales, estrellas de mar y de peces de colores muy bonitos.
Los peces, con sus bonitos colores y su pausado movimiento al son de la música, invitan a la relajación.
La última parte es el “Mar profundo”. Aquí hay una enorme piscina que se puede contemplar desde un lado y en una sala oscura. Desde este area, se puede admirar relajadamente el interior de esta piscina porque uno de los lados es una enorme plancha de metacrilato de 36 m de largo y 7 m de alto. Aquí, me impresionaron especialmente los grandes tiburones y las rayas.
Las peceras de las medusas están casi al final del recorrido y la cuidada iluminación resalta mucho sus colores que aparentan ser fosforescentes.
Las medusas suben y bajan lentamente con esos movimientos como latidos, haciendo un recorrido circular a lo largo de la vitrina. Nos quedamos absortos contemplándolas.
El Poema del mar vale la pena disfrutarlo sin prisa, lentamente, como si degustáramos un plato exquisito.
A todo el mundo se lo digo, si tenéis oportunidad no dejéis de visitarlo. De hecho, no me importaría volver cuando todo esto termine, ya que han hecho algunas mejoras durante estos meses de cierre obligado.
Tengo muchas ganas de que quede en el recuerdo esta dichosa época y podamos reencontrarnos. Entonces nos daremos entre lágrimas, sintiéndonos victoriosos, un abrazo apretado. Habremos triunfado!
The jellyfish from Poema del mar.
It is now three years since the doors of the magnificent aquarium called "Poema del mar" were opened.
Since the lockdown was declared in early March, it has been closed. However, more than 30 biologists and workers maintain and care for the 30,000 living beings that live there.
Just now a year ago we went to visit him together with our dear friends. We had a fantastic morning and took a lot of photos. Then we happily enjoyed a great meal. Who was going to tell us then that the pandemic would soon change our lives!
Poema del mar is a very special and relaxing place. It is an essential visit if you go to the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The tour is accompanied, at all times, by soft music, achieving a memorable sensory experience.
Poema del mar is divided into three parts:
The first area is the one dedicated to freshwater ecosystems. This part is what they call "The jungle"
The second part is "El Arrecife" and in it they have installed a giant cylinder-shaped fish tank where there is a great variety of corals, starfish and very beautiful colored fish.
The fish, with their beautiful colors and their slow movement to the sound of music, invite you to linger.
The last part is the "Deep Sea". Here is a huge pool that can be seen from the side and in a dark room. From this area, you can admire the interior of this pool in a relaxed way because one of the sides is a huge sheet of methacrylate 36 m long and 7 m high. Here, I was especially impressed by the large sharks and rays.
The jellyfish tanks are almost at the end of the route and the careful lighting highlights their colors that appear to be phosphorescent.
The jellyfish slowly rise and fall with these heartbeat-like movements, making a circular path across the display case. We are absorbed in contemplating them.
The Poem of the Sea is worth enjoying it slowly, slowly, as if we were tasting an exquisite dish.
I tell everyone, if you have the opportunity, do not stop visiting it. In fact, I wouldn't mind coming back when this is all over as they have made some improvements during these months of forced closure.
I really want to remember this happy time and we can meet again. Then we will give each other through tears, feeling victorious, a tight hug. We will have succeeded!
Cómo lo hago
Hice las fotografías con mi iPhone X. Para la edición utilicé la aplicación Snapseed y para la firma digital usé la App Watermark.
Los dibujos los hice en el iPad con el programa Sketches.
For the photography I use my iPhone X. For edition I use the Snapseed application and for the digital signature the Watermark app.
Everything I did on my mobile phone, I did not use the computer at all.
For the drawings, I use the Sketches program and paint them on the tablet.
