How to make a flashlight with part of a phone that we do not use.

in #spanish7 years ago

Good morning friends of Steemit, today I bring you a way to recycle parts of mobile phones that we do not use and often give away or simply throw it in a drawer, in this case are a small tutorial on how to make a rechargeable flashlight.
I have several BlackBerry and decided to do something with it that does not work, but serve for some emergency, in Venezuela it is common for electricity to fail a lot, but it also works to read a book and not disturb the one next to you.
They should only have the following items and tools:

A soldering iron
Soldering tin.
A USB cable that works but do not use.
A piece of black and red wire to identify the positive and the negative.
A battery of tel. of 3.7V most work with that voltage.
Screwdriver.
A charger or phone case. that they are not using.

Let us begin:
you have to disarm in mobile equipment slowly and very carefully, in this case I use a BlackBerry 8100 that does not work, when disarming it will be divided into three parts, main housing, computer motherboard and rear of the computer., in the back of the equipment, separate the flash as you can see in the photo, once having the flash in hand, we flipped it to identify a small resistance already installed in the small back plate of the flas, must be very careful not to remove it since this is the one that regulates direct current of the battery, without this the flash in second burns.

USB Cable.
To know the function of a USB cable it is not necessary to be an expert, but we are curious about how these cables work, because here I quickly and bluntly show you how these USB cables are composed.
And it serves to communicate to the pc with some peripherals, such as printer, scanner, or charge a battery.

In my case two old lanterns that once worked and this same disarm and replace the led by a flash that takes the phone.

Second part :

Important: We must identify the positive and the negative on the flash card, we do this with a charged and functioning phone battery, we place two cables (soldered), red and black to test and identify the flash.

Third part :
We began to weld piece by piece and little by little so as not to have an error.

Fourth part :
We tested the flashlight with some USB port or portable charger, in this case I tried it with my Laptop.

I armed and modified another flashlight that was bad and I put a flash of the blackberry that which does the same function and modify a charger of my old iphone 4 and I put a USB input port.
