Me gusto esta iniciativa apenas la leí, ya que nuestros padres nos dieron muchas cosas, y no nos alcanza la vida para agradecerles por tanto, como dice un dicho nos dieron la vida para tenerlo todo, cuando uno piensa cual es el regalo más grande que nos dieron, el primer pensamiento sin duda es la vida, pero hay muchas cosas que nos dieron y al pensar más a fondo según la iniciativa propuesta por nuestra amiga @charjaim
Por parte de mi padre herede las habilidades artísticas y creativas, mi padre no hacía nada de artes plásticas, pero el tenía la habilidad de que todo lo que hacía con sus manos lo reparaba, le daba otra forma, mi esposo decía que era un artesano pues siempre inventaba, el realmente era mecánico y latonero, pero siempre hacia cosas que sorprendían a las personas, era muy habilidoso.
Por otra parte mi padre me enseñó el arte de manejar, a cambiar el aceite al carro y estar pendiente de algunas cosas del vehículo, también de mi padre aprendí a jugar varios juegos, y de allí mi gusto por tantos juegos, fui hija única por parte de mi madre y en casa no tenía con quien jugar, mi padre era mi amigo de juegos, el mejor amigo de juegos pues el casi siempre me dejaba ganar, jugábamos, ludo, monopolio, memoria, palitos chinos, en fin muchos juegos, con mi madre también jugaba pero mi padre era más activo en eso, así que gracias a él mi amor por los juegos.
Otra de las cosas que mi padre me enseñó es a reflexionar y negociar, el era un hombre que hubiese sido un gran psicólogo y gracias a él aprendí a hablar mucho con personas adultas, su forma de tratarlos, su forma de expresarse me ayudo mucho y creo que soy un poco como él en ese punto, algo que me a ayudado a empatizar con otras personas.
De mi madre aprendí el arte de la cocina y los postres, ella me enseñó hacer tortas ella siempre las hacía en la casa, y desde muy pequeña me enseñó a batir las tortas, a engrasar los moldes y hacer diferentes tipos de tortas, diferentes savores, el glaseado que tanto me gustaba como ella lo hacía, además de las tortas en casa me enseñó a hacer diferentes tipos de dulces, ella siempre buscaba nuevos postres para hacer en casa y que comieramos nuestro postre en el día, yo sin duda herede eso de ella la pasión por los dulces y mantener a la familia contenta y feliz, ya saben barriga llena corazón contento.
De mi madre también agradezco los valores que me formó, a pesar de que ella tenía un carácter muy fuerte me sirvió para formar la persona que hoy soy, no hay palabras para agradecer a ella todo el amor que me dio y que ahora puedo dar a mis hijos e inculcar esos hermosos valores que ella supo darme, claro mi padre también tuvo que ver, pero reconozco que mi madre tiene más mérito en ello.
Por otra parte agradezco a mi madre por haberme inculcado la fe, desde pequeña ella me enseñaba aprender la biblia, y me la explicaba, el amor a Dios y las oraciones, es algo que siempre voy atesorar en mi corazón y que al igual que ella se lo trasmito constantemente a mis hijos.
Ambos me dieron la educación un regalo muy preciado, y sobre todo el amor que me diero ese regalo es invaluable, me dieron todo sin tener tanto. Sin más me despido e invitó a participar en esta genial iniciativa a los amigos @cetb2008 y @soyunasantacruz , que nos cuenten un poco cual fue el regalo más grande que le dieron sus padres.

Another thing my father taught me is to reflect and negotiate, he was a man who would have been a great psychologist and thanks to him I learned to talk a lot with adults, his way of dealing with them, his way of expressing himself helped me a lot and I think I am a little like him on that point, something that has helped me to empathize with other people.
From my mother I learned the art of cooking and desserts, she taught me how to make cakes, she always made them at home, and since I was very little she taught me how to beat the cakes, to grease the molds and make different types of cakes, different flavors, the icing that I liked so much as she did, besides the cakes at home she taught me how to make different kinds of sweets, she was always looking for new desserts to make at home so we could eat our dessert during the day, I certainly inherited that from her the passion for sweets and keeping the family happy and content, you know belly full heart content.
I also thank my mother for the values that she formed me, even though she had a very strong character, she helped me to form the person I am today, there are no words to thank her for all the love she gave me and that now I can give to my children and instill those beautiful values that she knew how to give me, of course my father also had to do, but I recognize that my mother has more merit in it.
On the other hand, I thank my mother for having instilled faith in me, since I was a little girl she taught me to learn the bible and explained it to me, the love for God and the prayers, it is something that I will always treasure in my heart and like her I constantly pass it on to my children.
