Yo, what am I smoking to say such a thing?
Why would a gazillionaire be eyeing a relatively unknown software/AI/crypto project with such a smallcap attached to it? Currently Tau.net's $AGRS, the cryptocurrency that I speculate (solely based on its proposed technological superiority) could have a chance at becoming one of the world's top cryptocurrencies in the future is still currently drizzling in the wind at under $10 million marketcap. It hasn't worked its way up to be noticed by the mainstream man. Perhaps rightfully so because the mainnet isn't even out yet.
So, no way he's eyeing it, right?
Or, yes way?
Here's what tingled my spidey senses. It happened recently when I was checking out Tau's X/Twitter account @ https://twitter.com/TauLogicAI. Here's what I saw:-
It's actually one of the 150 accounts that I've been following:-
So what? What's so special about this goth anime guy? (actual handle @ https://x.com/goth600)
Elon Musk follows about 470 accounts on the platform, and this is one of them. Their account could be one of his sock puppets. It could even be one of his AI-powered accounts. Who knows? But I think that's unlikely, so I apologize for the semi-clickbait. However, that's not all. The story doesn't just end here. If this is not Elon Musk himself, methinks the account is at least his extra pair of eyes on X/Twitter. Why do I say that?
Take a look at their bio.
VP of Witchcraft and Propaganda @ X. Uh.. I don't know wtf that is but I like the way the account tweets about AI stuff. There's a magical flair to it. However, anyone can just type up whatever bio they want, right? Yes, but it's not a fake bio. I remember that Musky boy actually hired someone right on the spot in one of his posts.
So I donned my elite hacker bandana and performed a search on X/Twitter with the word "hired" from Elon Musk @ link. Sure enough, I found this:-
Elon Musk had only mentioned "hired" 5 times on the platform in his entire influencer career. Words like "employed" and "appointed" yielded no results. So it's really only 5 times, and only 3 of them were directed at someone. One is for the new CEO of X. Another for the Boring Company troupe. The last one was for this goth600 account. Let's take a look - ~~~ embed:1668357420341510147:- twitter metadata:ZWxvbm11c2t8fGh0dHBzOi8vdHdpdHRlci5jb20vZWxvbm11c2svc3RhdHVzLzE2NjgzNTc0MjAzNDE1MTAxNDc6LXw= ~~~
Yes yes yes? Am I onto something?
I don't know if there's really any significance here as goth600 is following like 6000 accounts, which could be all the AI related projects. The role could just be a nothingburger too. Perhaps he's like a techno-court jester. But I'm smoking some hopium here and well, at least senpai VP of Witchcraft and Propaganda himself noticed my little birdy account and recent post on AI safety and competition in which the solution is Tau, a project they've already been following anyway like I said.
In the least, I think they're keeping tabs on it. Because lookie look, here's part of the recent xAI's Grok announcement, in the section where they expressed some research directions to improve their work:-
Large Language Models are actually the easy part. The hardest part is probably the part above. I don't think they quite hit the nail on the head with the way it's phrased though, but what do I really know what they're up to? Still, methinks this matter is something that the Tau project has singularly focused on for nearly the past decade. They're likely way ahead of the curve in this regard, especially considering that founder and lead developer Ohad Asor pinpointed a very specific vision that'd enable large-scale discussions / collaboration and accurate software generation with AI safety. He has been chipping away in this particularly novel mental space for such a long time with his team.
I'll speculate on why xAI's Grok could be great news for the Tau project in another post soon.
Before I end this post.
Please follow me on X/Twitter @ http://x.com/theonlypunk101 and smash that heart button on my dead tweets. I paid for the blue checkmark to give myself some street cred for the past 4 months, all just to tweet out a measly couple of times about a project that barely anyone knows about. And worse, to barely any readers! I half-pinky promise to be way more entertaining and brutal and active going forward, especially when Tau.net's demo and testnet arrives. Hope you enjoyed the hopium and armchair sleuthing :)
NFA ofc.
Elon might maybe know the future of the platform and the best thing he feels he could do is invest in it before it gets late
Who knows if it will very the next big thing
Elon is the one big smart guy I know, he might definitely have plans and whatever step he is planning is something big.
I am definitely sure Elon has so much big moves to make soon, it is just a matter of time
