When it comes to these things, I really think that "I don't know" is truly the best answer... Admitting this can only lead to open, honest inquiry. Too many people simply believe things because they like to, and then go through their lives the victims of confirmation bias... I actually wrote a short article about my lack of belief recently that you might enjoy engaging in =)
